Located in Thumamah, the northeastern part of Riyadh, this IKEA store has a gross floor area of 26,900 sqm and is constructed on a plot of approximately 96,000 sqm. After 18 months of fierce competition and perseverance, our Prihoda Arabian Peninsula office seized the project only in the last round, right at the last moment! A hybrid (Metal & Fabric) ducting system was selected, but once it was completed with our HELIX system, IKEA KSA officials clearly advocated for a full fabric ducting in the next project, which will hopefully be coming soon. With a fabric-covered metal spiral inserted inside the duct, Prihoda Helix permanently maintains its cylindrical shape and keeps the fabric stretched. The product is a genuine game changer.
