Covid-19 testing and vaccination village, Antwerp, Belgium

The vaccination village Spoor Oost in Antwerp, Belgium, is ready to dispense 750 vaccinations per day. Vaccinations will be done in perfectly air-conditioned tents which use the hygienic Prihoda fabric ducting air distribution technology. Good ventilation in all public spaces such as supermarkets, hospitals and care homes is critical in preventing the spread of viruses. Prihoda air ducts are the best possible solution for ventilation. They are lightweight, made to size and easily washable. In this project, diffusers were made for a rental company which wanted to reuse them in other projects such as festivals. We supplied diffusers with large adjustable nozzles in blind ends to optimize airflow in case they are later installed in longer tents. A quick lead time was crucial in this project. Once the contract was signed, the tent builder only had 2–3 weeks to install everything, including the Prihoda diffusers, which required extra-fast production and delivery to the site by us.
