PRIHODA

We are a medium-size Czech company that manufactures fabric ducting and diffusers. We are located in a small town called Hlinsko, where the textile industry has many years of a tradition. It is here, from where we export our products to all continents and more than 70 countries. We belong among the largest manufacturers in the world. The company, founded in 1994, is still owned and managed by its founder Zdeněk Příhoda.

History

Our products as well as our company have gone through a fundamental development process throughout the years of its existence. From the first three machines and two seamstresses in a rented workshop to a company with more than 200 employees who work on tens of modern sewing machines spread throughout six operation buildings. Laser machines for burning holes and recently also ultrasound machines for clean joining of fabric have become a technological necessity. Both of these machines represent single-purpose, specially developed devices. In 2017 we founded subsidiaries in China and Mexico. These companies will provide us with the necessary production capacity and conditions for a further expansion on the markets in Asia and America.

Philosophy

As our company symbol, we chose a butterfly. We did so for several reasons. The initial reason is to differentiate our company from the manufacturers of traditional sheet metal ducts. Those are grey and heavy, while our products are light and colorful. The lightness associated with the movement of a colorful butterfly corresponds well with the ease of the transportation and installation of our products. A butterfly is also a suitable symbol for our approach to the environment, expressed by, among others, the use of fabric made from one hundred percent recyclable fibers.

The success of our company is a joint work of all our employees. This team of motivated people with creative thinking contributes to a continuous improvement of our products and services. Throughout the years we have managed to perfectly tune up all our activities and work habits, partially also thanks to a minimal fluctuation of our employees. Maintaining a good and positive attitude forms one of these habits.

We are aware of the fact that our products can be only as good as it is their design and sales service. We have contractual representatives in more than 60 countries around the world. All of them have been thoroughly trained. They are ready to provide our customers with a full professional service. We organize regular joint meetings and we are in close contact with them, we are “Prihoda Family“.
