When a Company Opens Its Doors to Students and the Public

The Week of Knowledge Hlinecko, organised by MAS Hlinecko, has successfully wrapped up its second edition — and once again, Prihoda was proud to take part. The company welcomed both students and the general public, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how textile diffusers and ducts are made right in Hlinsko — products that help improve indoor environments all around the world.

A Look Behind the Curtains

After an opening speech by Managing Director Zdeněk Příhoda, who shared insights into the company’s history and current direction, visitors enjoyed a guided tour led by Marketing Manager Lukáš Halamka.
Participants followed the full production journey — from printing and laser cutting to sewing workshops — discovering how many precise steps and how much skilled manual work go into each finished product.

Curiosity in the Air

The atmosphere was filled with curiosity and openness. Students and visitors asked detailed questions about production methods, project timelines, and international installations. Many left genuinely surprised by the complexity and precision required at every stage.

Meaningful Connections in the Region

The Week of Knowledge once again proved how valuable collaboration between local companies and institutions can be. People wanted to see the details, understand the processes, and connect the dots — which is exactly what this initiative aimed to inspire: curiosity, understanding, and pride in what’s created locally with global impact.
