Unique products for special use
1. SquAireTex Fabric Tile Diffusers
SquAireTex® products are the latest exciting advancement in air distribution devices from Prihoda. Designed for use in suspended ceilings, SquAireTex® diffusers are made entirely of fabric supported by a lightweight aluminum frame. The concealed plenum can be made from insulated or uninsulated non-woven fabric and includes a sewn-in perforated baffle to ensure even dispersion from the entire diffuser. As with all other air dispersion systems from Prihoda, every air outlet is laser cut for a precise, efficient, and durable design.
- Extremely light weight (no individual support hangers required)
- Quick and easy to install; just lay in the ceiling grid and connect to air supply
- Flat fabric face unzips for easy cleaning
- All fabric components are launderable, making for a very hygienic ceiling diffuser
- 9 stock colors to choose from, mix or match deflector pockets with fabric face colors
- Custom colors and dimensions upon request
- Optional 100% Post-consumer Recycled Content
- Ultrasonically welded directional outlets offer a permanent bond without VOC’s
Three distinct designs to meet any air dispersion needs:
Channeling pockets of the SquAireTex® swirl diffuser are ultrasonically welded in an engineered configuration to generate a swirling air flow pattern that utilizes the coanda effect along the ceiling. The patent pending design of the SquAireTex® swirl diffuser provides excellent induction and mixing for superior occupant comfort.
SquAireTex flow® diffusers use engineered perforations and channeling pockets to direct air flow in multiple directions. Standard configurations (custom arrangements upon request):
Small perforations located evenly along the surface of the SquAireTex perfo® distribute low velocity, laminar flow for critical environments such as labs, cleanrooms, kitchens and indoor shooting ranges.
2. Negative Pressure (Return/Exhaust) Ducting - Fabric Ducting for removing air
Prihoda’s unique rectangular and triangular fabric ducts expand the benefits of fabric duct to negative pressure (return) applications or positive pressure (supply) applications with limited overhead space. Custom perforation sizes and spacing ensure equal extraction rates along the length of the duct, improving return system efficiency and space comfort.
Launderable, anti-microbial fabric duct material and aluminum support structure allows for maintenance of hygienic conditions in industries such as food processing as well as ensures complete resistance to corrosion in environments such as pools.
3. Double Wall Fabric Duct – Eliminate condensation and reduce heat gain/loss
Prihoda’s double-wall fabric ducting systems use a slightly permeable inner duct that discharges approximately 1% of duct airflow surrounded by a protective non-permeable layer to prevent condensation and duct sweating in humid, high temperature differential applications.
4. Lantern membrane diffuser
Utilizing an internal textile control membrane, the Lantern Membrane Diffuser distributes air horizontally during cooling mode and vertically during heating mode providing effective, efficient spot cooling and heating for large, open spaces such as warehouses and manufacturing floors. The ceiling mounted diffusers are simple to install and can be easily removed for cleaning in hygiene-critical applications.
5. Fabric shutter
This device serves to seal a section of a fabric duct or a diffuser using a sewn-in, short airtight membrane. Used to temporarily close off (decommission) some branches or sections which can be useful for zone heating or cooling with a complete fabric duct and diffuser system. Opening and closing can be manual or by a servomotor. Apart from the stainless steel reinforcing structure, the entire flap is of textile. It can be easily dismantled and cleaned by laundering in a washing machine. Furthermore the shutter can be retrofitted using zippers for existing Prihoda air dispersion systems or can be implemented on new systems.
6. Pocket Deflectors - Solution for deflection of flow from perforations
Air jets from duct perforations in ducts with high velocity and insufficient pressure can deflect, or exit the duct at very pronounced angles toward the duct end cap. This deflection can dramatically impact the distribution effectiveness of the duct system. Engineered fabric pockets strategically placed at the ends of perforation rows direct air opposite the angle of deflection to ensure perpendicular throw and distribution effectiveness.
Prihoda’s proprietary design software accounts for deflection angle during the design phase. This feature guarantees proper air direction for correct distribution patterns eliminating uneven temperatures in the space or condensation on glass in pool rooms. Leaflet
7. Small Nozzles - For directed air patterns and long/high throw applications
Venturi shaped nozzles increase the throw distance for distributed air 25% compared to perforations of the same size allowing for effective air distribution even in high-ceiling applications.
Prihoda ultrasonically welds nozzles made from the same UL/ULC listed material as the duct to provide the increased throw distance while eliminating the material degradation and UL/ULC listing issues associated with traditional plastic nozzles.
